COVID-19 Statutory and Regulatory Waivers and Alternative Requirements:
In Notice PIH 2020–05, published on April 10, 2020, HUD exercised its authority under the CARES Act to establish waivers and administrative flexibilities to provide relief to Public Housing Agencies (PHAs), Indian tribes, and tribally designated housing entities (TDHEs) in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. On July 2, 2020, it published a revision Notice PIH 2020-13. In this revision to that Notice, HUD restates the waivers and alternative requirements established previously in Notice PIH 2020–05, provides additional waivers and alternative requirements, extends the periods of availability for previously established waivers and alternative requirements, and issues technical amendments to several of the previously established waivers and alternative requirements.

OFFICE CLOSURE - MARCH 12, 2020
In response to COVID-19 the Housing Authority of Thurston County (HATC) is closing our doors to the public effective March 12, 2020 until further notice.
We will not be conducting annual inspections during this timeframe, however, we will continue to provide initial inspections for moves and eligibility lease-ups.
